Welcome to CareSource! Our main goal is to keep our members healthy. We cover you with care!
CareSource is a managed care plan serving Covered Families and Children (CFC) (including Healthy Start and Healthy Families) and Aged, Blind or Disabled (ABD) Medicaid members and Medicare Advantage consumers in Ohio. We also serve the Ohio Children's Buy-In members.
If you are eligible for Ohio Medicaid, you and/or members of your family may receive health care benefits through either the Covered Families and Children (CFC) program (including Healthy Start and Healthy Families) or the Aged, Blind or Disabled (ABD) program.
ABD Medicaid consumers include adults age 65 and older and Ohioans who are blind or disabled at any age.
CFC Medicaid consumers include families, children up to age 19, and pregnant women.
If you are eligible for both Ohio Medicaid and Medicare Part A and Part B, you may receive health care benefits through CareSource Advantage®. This plan also has Medicare Prescription drug coverage and many more benefits.
Uninsured children in families with income over 300 percent of the federal poverty level may receive health care benefits through The Ohio Children's Buy-In program.
