Do you need a ride to your doctor’s office? Do you need to pick up a prescription on the way home? If you do not have a way to get to your medical appointment, CareSource can help you with transportation.
You can get rides to medically necessary health care visits when they are covered by the plan. CareSource can also provide mileage reimbursement for medically necessary health care services. You have to arrange for these services before the visit.
If you qualify for transportation, CareSource can:
- Take you to and from a doctor’s appointment. This includes mental health and vision care covered by CareSource.
- Take you to get prescriptions or medical supplies after your appointment.
Call Member Services at 1-800-390-7102 for a ride to a medical appointment. Choose the menu option for members, then the option for transportation.
