CareSource Hires Chief Administrative Officer
Local Native Dan McCabe joins CareSource
DAYTON, Ohio, February 2, 2012 – CareSource, a public-sector managed care company, has hired Daniel McCabe as the Chief Administrative Officer. He will provide strategic leadership and oversight of CareSource’s administrative functions including Human Resources, CareSource University, Enterprise Risk Management, Vendor Management and the CareSource Foundation.
McCabe was most recently Senior Vice President and the Chief Administrative Officer for DP&L. Prior to joining DP&L in 2007, Dan was with AT&T and the NCR Corporation for more than 25 years.
“Due to our continued growth, this new position was created to ensure we are recruiting and retaining the best talent,” said Pamela Morris, President and CEO. “We are honored to have Dan join our team as he brings a wealth of experience to CareSource.” McCabe holds two advanced degrees, an Executive MBA in International Management and Finance and a Master’s in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management, both from Rutgers University. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Moravian College.
He and his wife have three children and live in Washington Township. He serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the School of Arts and Sciences for the University of Dayton and for the Ohio Aerospace Hub. He is also a Board Member for the Boy Scouts of America Miami Valley Council, the Dayton Region Chamber of Commerce and the DP&L Foundation.
