CareSource's pharmacy program is managed through a contract with a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) company, RxAmerica. Through this PBM, we maintain a formulary of preferred drugs. It is based on the Michigan Medicaid fee-for-service Preferred Drug List with certain modifications. We review this formulary frequently and make updates accordingly.
