Member Care

CareSource members can receive any medically necessary covered service. Our Covered Services information provides more detail.

CareSource members also receive many additional benefits. These include a Member Service Center, a 24-hour nurse advice line, and transportation to medical, WIC and Medicaid redetermination appointments. Our Additional Services provides more information.

Integral to CareSource are its Primary Care Providers (PCPs) who oversee and coordinate care of its members.

CareSource members should not be billed for any medically necessary covered services, and they are not responsible for any co-payments. Prescriptions billed through the Ohio Medicaid Fee-for-Service (FFS) program may be subject to co-payments. Our Member Billing Policy can provide additional information. Access Standards help ensure CareSource members receive medical attention as timely as needed for their condition.

In many cases, finding help to assist individuals and families in their communities can be difficult and time consuming. To help providers with this task, CareSource has created a Community Resources Guide. The Community Resources Guide can be an excellent tool for connecting your patients to the right resource when they need it.
