Prescription Drug Coverage Changed for Ohio Medicaid Members
Effective October 1, 2011, The Ohio Department of Job & Family Services (ODJFS) made changes to the administration of prescription drug coverage for all Medicaid Managed Care enrollees. Pharmacy benefits are now administered through CareSource and other Ohio Managed Care Plans (MCPs). Additional information about this change is available at www.jfs.ohio.gov and at www.ohiohealthcarehome.com. This information has been updated in our 2011 Provider Manual below.
The CareSource Provider Manual contains information about our health care plans, policies and procedures and general guidelines. The Manual provided below includes information for our Covered Families and Children (CFC) Medicaid, Aged, Blind or Disabled (ABD) Medicaid and Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan (SNP) members. Providers will be notified when the 2012 Provider Manual is posted on our website.
