Our History

Caresource was founded in 1989 by Dennis and Diane Kenny, both of whom came from careers in law. Dennis, a partner and managing partner with the national firm Davis Wright & Jones (now Davis Wright Tremaine LLP), had practiced principally in the field of health law and served as chairman of the firm's Health Law Practice Group.

We have steadily grown to serve clients throughout the United States, the majority of whom are provider organizations, professional associations, and government agencies involved in delivery of health care or aging services. As we have grown, we have remained true to our original goal of providing extraordinary service in a handful of specialties, including:

Today, Caresource enjoys a national reputation second to none in the specialty field of health care and senior communications, especially relating to program design, content development, and publishing infrastructure. We are owned and managed by a group of individual shareholders, each of whom is a full-time employee of the company. And although we feel privileged and entirely at home serving many large organizations as clients, we continue to appreciate the flexibility, independence, and support of our core values that our relatively small size and employee ownership structure afford.
