As regional market president, Jason Bearden leads strategy and growth for CareSource’s Southeast Region. He oversees teams and key partnerships to strengthen provider collaboration, expand access to care and elevate the member experience. Jason previously served as president of CareSource’s Georgia market, vice president of operations for CareSource Georgia and president of CareSource’s Arkansas market, CareSource PASSE™.

Prior to joining CareSource, Jason served as chief executive officer for Beacon Health Options where he managed Georgia’s behavioral health and intellectual developmental disability health plan. Jason’s commitment to complex populations is shaped by his work in state government as director of health and human services for Governor Sonny Perdue and by his leadership as CEO of Highland Rivers Health, Georgia’s largest community mental health center.

Through active community involvement, Jason has built strong partnerships that are instrumental in creating CareSource’s market leading, member-focused health plans.

Giving back to his local community, Jason serves on the boards of Partners for HOME, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Quality Healthcare Association.

Jason earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds master’s degrees in health administration and business administration from Georgia State University.
