CDC Update on the Flu and the Coronavirus
Have you gotten your flu shot yet?
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), seasonal flu activity is still high and expected to continue for a number of weeks. A flu vaccine is best way to help prevent seasonal flu and its potentially serious complications.
With the newly discovered respiratory virus called Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), first reported in China making headlines, the CDC is closely monitoring it. The overall risk of coronavirus to the general public is low, and symptoms may resemble the seasonal flu, which is a far greater risk this time of year.
