Baby Care

A new baby is a lot of work. It can all feel overwhelming. Talk with your provider if you have any questions or concerns. We are here for you too. Call our Mom & Baby Beginnings team at 1-833-230-2034 (TTY: 711) to get support.

Baby’s Health

It is important to choose a pediatrician or other provider for your baby. Call 1-833-230-2034 (TTY: 711) if you need help finding one near you. It’s best to have a provider picked out before you give birth if you can!

There are lots of visits your baby needs. These visits help providers make sure your baby is healthy and developing well. It also helps them stay on track and get their immunizations on time.

Feeding Baby

Choosing to breastfeed, formula feed, or a combination of both is a hard decision for many new parents.

Safe Sleep

Remember the ABC’s of safe sleep.

Alone. Sleeping in the same bed with parents, caregivers, or other children is not recommended.

Back. Put your baby on their back to sleep.

Crib. Babies should sleep in a crib or bassinet covered only with a fitted sheet. Do not have bumper pads, pillows, toys, or extra blankets. Anything other than the fitted sheet can block your baby from breathing.
