Devon Valencia

Devon Valencia leads all aspects of information technology and informatics within the organization and is responsible for setting the strategy for the company’s systems and technical infrastructure, systems development and information technology operations. She also manages the implementation of system enhancements and serves as the HIPAA security officer to ensure compliance with all applicable provisions.

She has extensive experience working in information technology which has improved the accessibility of technology within the health care industry to increase company agility. Prior to joining CareSource, she worked for Blue Shield of California, providing technology leadership for the $20 billion company with four million members.

Devon holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of the Pacific-Eberhardt School of Business. She is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), a Project Management Professional (PMP) and she has completed the executive program in leadership from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Devon serves on the board of directors for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Dayton Boys & Girls Club. She also serves on several committees supporting JobsOhio, Cincinnati CIO Roundtable, Technology First and the Montgomery County Education Technology Pilot.  Devon was named Top 25 Women Leaders, Women to Watch by Modern Healthcare and one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Tech from the National Diversity Council.
