Don’t Risk Losing Your CareSource Health Care Coverage!
CareSource cares about you. Our mission is to help you stay healthy. to stay a CareSource member, you have to renew your benefits with your local Division of Family Resources office.
The state will send you a renewal notice when it is time to renew your HIP or HHW coverage. It’s important to know that if you don’t take action, you could lose your eligibility for health care coverage and your extra CareSource benefits. HIP members who don’t renew in time could have to wait six months before reapplying.
Renew Your Coverage in One of Three Ways
- Online. If you applied for health coverage online, visit the Division of Family Resources Benefits Portal
- By Mail. Fill out the form you will get in the mail and send it back right away to your local county DFR office.
- In Person. Visit your local Division of Family Resource (DFR) office.
Call your local Division of Family Resource office or 1-800-403-0864.
Please note that CareSource cannot renew your benefits. It must be handled by your local DFR office. However, if you need transportation to your local county DFS office, CareSource can help. To schedule transportation, please call 1-844-607-2829 (TTY: 1-800-743-3333 or 711) at least two business days before you need a ride.
