As a CareSource member, you can get the same necessary medical services that are covered by the regular Hoosier Healthwise and HIP. Some examples are preventive checkups and inpatient and outpatient hospital services. And, you get MORE. As a CareSource member, you’ll enjoy.
Health and Wellness
Routine dental checkups and dental cleanings are covered under Hoosier Healthwise, HIP Plus, HIP State Plus, and HIP State Basic and HIP Maternity plans. You can find a network dental provider by using our Find a Doctor/Provider search tool. We encourage you to get a dental checkup every six months. Some services may require a referral from your dentist and/or prior authorization from CareSource. Your dentist will make the request on your behalf. Depending on your plan, you may have more benefits. Please contact Member Services if you have questions about your dental benefit coverage.
