Routine dental checkups and cleanings are a covered benefit under Hoosier Healthwise, Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) Plus, HIP State Plus and HIP State Basic, and HIP Maternity plans. Depending on the patient’s plan, additional benefits may be covered,  and some services may require preauthorization.
