Chad Moore, President, Kansas Market

Chad Moore is the President of CareSource Kansas, bringing more than 20 years of experience in health care leadership roles. In his previous position as Vice President and Chief Network Operations at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC), Chad was responsible for overseeing network contracting, reimbursement, provider relations, and provider service operations. He managed contracts for Blue KC’s network, ensuring strong business relationships and accessible, quality care for members. Additionally, Chad handled pharmacy operations and the pharmacy benefit management relationship.

Before joining Blue KC, Chad served as the Senior Director of Payer Relations & Operations at Children’s Mercy Hospital, where he managed contracts with health plans and oversaw operations for Children’s Mercy Integrated Care Solutions (“CMICS”). CMICS is Children’s innovating population health organization which manages various value-based reimbursement programs for the hospitals and its affiliated physicians.

Chad has served on numerous boards including Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center and the Kansas Action for Children, a nonprofit organization focused on advancing public policy initiatives benefiting Kansas children and families. He was a member of the REACH Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors for six years, serving as its chair of the Program and Policy Committee for two of those years.

He holds a Juris Doctorate and Master of Health Administration from Saint Louis University, and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Truman State University.
