Angela Taylor – Provider Engagement Specialist II

Angela is proud and honored to work for CareSource. She has 15 years of experience in the health care field. Angela lives in Ironton, Ohio with her husband Jerry and youngest child. In her free time she enjoys traveling, camping and spending time with her three children and grandchild.

A message from Angela, “My position at CareSource allows me to help people find resolutions, in an otherwise tough situation, and not knowing what to do next. I love helping not only providers and members but my fellow colleagues as well.”

Angela manages providers in both the CareSource West Virginia and Kentucky Marketplace plans. Her providers include Mountain Health Network, Kings Daughters Medical Center (KDMC), Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH), Pikeville Medical Center and Baptist Health. In addition, Angela is available to assist the providers located in the following Kentucky counties: Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Floyd, Greenup, Johnson, Knott, Lawrence, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, Morgan, and Pike. Angela also oversees the following West Virginia Counties: Cabell, Lincoln, Logan, Mason, McDowell, Mingo, Wayne and Wyoming.

Meet Shirley! Shirley is the latest addition to our Provider Service Representative Team. With a solid decade of health care experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, emphasizing the importance of building a strong relationship with our valued providers. Shirley currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her family. Despite being the heart of basketball county, her loyalty lies with the North Carolina Tar Heels. On the weekends you can find her wholeheartedly involved in all her kids’ sports activities.

A message from Shirley, “I passionately advocate for all of my providers ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.”

Shirley’s providers include: St. Elizabeth Health System, Kentucky Primary Care Association, TPN and APCP. Hope Lafavers – Provider Engagement Specialist II

Hope is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and holds an MBA in Health Care Administration. She has worked in health care for 17 years and has been part of the CareSource Kentucky Provider Engagement team for eight and a half years. Hope lives in Somerset, KY and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

A message from Hope: “I enjoy working with our health care partners to solve any new or existing issues. My goal is to make our partnership work as smoothly as possible, so our health care partners can more easily provide the best care to our members”.

Hope’s providers include Norton; University of Louisville (U of L); and Catholic Health Partners. Brittany is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and has a professional background in finance and insurance. Brittany resides in Somerset, Kentucky with her husband and daughter.  She has been with CareSource for 11 years. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, boating, decorating and reading. 

A message from Brittany: “I love working as a provider engagement specialist for many reasons, but primarily because every day presents a new and unique opportunity to help providers solve sometimes complex issues, which in turn helps our members continue to receive quality health care. It is very fulfilling to know that our efforts can and do make a positive difference for others!”
