Renew Your CareSource Benefits

Keep your address up to date.

Don’t miss important updates about your benefits. Contact your County Department of Job and Family Services if you have a new address.

We love that you are a member of CareSource MyCare Ohio! You may need to renew your Medicaid coverage soon. Without Medicaid coverage, you will no longer be eligible for CareSource MyCare Ohio.

If you need to renew, you will get a letter or packet in the mail from your County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS) about your Medicaid eligibility. Make sure they have your updated contact information so that you can get this mail on time. Respond to any mail you get from CDJFS as soon as you can. 

Renew in one of these ways:

  • By Phone: Call the Medicaid Hotline at 1-800-324-8680 (TTY: 1-800-292-3572). You can call Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Online: Go to benefits.ohio.gov if you have an online account. Log in and click Renew My Benefits.
  • By Mail: Fill out the renewal form and mail it back right away to your local county JFS office. Find the address.
  • In Person: Visit your county JFS office. Their staff can help you renew. Find the address.

Transportation Options

You can get a ride to your renewal appointments. Schedule a Ride:

  • Call CareSource MyCare Ohio at 1-855-475-3163 (TTY: 1-833-711-4711 or 711), 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday – Friday.
  • Call at least two business days in advance.

Note: In addition to the transportation assistance CareSource MyCare Ohio provides, you can still get help with transportation for certain services through the Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) program. Call your local County Department of Job and Family Services for questions or assistance with NET services.
