Getting the proper care when you are pregnant is not just good medicine. Itâs rewarding, too! Sign up for Babies First and earn up to $150 in rewards for going to the doctor while you are pregnant and after your baby is born.
Visiting the doctor for regular check-ups is one of the building blocks of good health for you and your baby. The CareSource Babies First program rewards you for building your good health.
Here is how you earn rewards:
A â See your OB/GYN doctor regularly while you are pregnant.Â Youâll receive $20 on your MyCareSource Rewards card for the first, fifth, and twelfth visit with your doctor.
B â See your OB/GYN doctor for a follow-up visit within 3 to 8 weeks after the baby is born to receive $20 on your MyCareSource Rewards card.
C â Make sure your child sees the doctor regularly. (Children should see the doctor at birth, 3-5 days of age and at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24, and 30 months.)Â Receive $10 on your MyCareSource Rewards card for the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh visit with your babyâs doctor.
You will be sent your MyCareSource Rewards card and a brochure that explains the program and what to expect from us. Please allow 10 to 14 business days to receive the card and brochure. After you receive your card, there are two ways to activate it. You can call 1-888-682-2400 or go to www.myotccard.com and enter your 19-digit card number. This number is listed on the front of your card. AfterÂ rewards are loaded to your card, you can purchase items for yourself or the baby.Â This card works at many local stores.

Whether you are expecting your first child or your third, many questions may run through your mind before and after your baby is born, such as:
- What kind of exercise can I do while Iâm pregnant?
- What are the right things to eat?
- What changes will I go through during the first few months of being pregnant?
- Is it OK for my baby to sleep with me in my bed?
Text4Baby can help answer these questions and more. When you sign up, you will get up to three text messages a week right to your cell phone. These text messages are tailored to where you are in your pregnancy. They will also include reminders to choose a pediatrician before your baby is born or make a postpartum visit appointment after delivery.
Do you need a ride to the doctor? CareSource can help. We will pay a driver to take you there and bring you back. You can get a ride to:
- Any doctor visit or health care appointment
- The local Women, Infants and Children (WIC) office
- Medicaid redetermination appointments at the County Department of Job and Family Services
You can also call us if you have a transportation complaint or issue.
If you must travel 30 miles or more from your home to get covered health care services, CareSource will provide transportation to and from the providerâs office. Additionally, each CareSource member can ask for 15 free rides (30 one-way trips) per calendar year for trips less than 30 miles. Remember, if you have an emergency, call 911 or go to an emergency room. To schedule a ride call 1-800-488-0134 (TTY: 1-800-750-0750 or 711).
You can choose from a large selection of certain stylish eyeglass frames, including wire rim frames. These frames are available, in addition to those approved by Medicaid, at no cost to you. Ask your vision care provider to show you whatÂ frames are available to you.
