CareSource Foundation FAQs
Partnerships that Lead to Stronger, Healthier Communities
The CareSource Foundation is committed to advancing health, opportunity, and well-being in the communities we serve. Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions about our grant application process.
*NEW FOR 2026*
Beginning July 31, 2026, the Foundation has transitioned to an invitation-only grant process. This means the Foundation identifies and invites organizations to apply for support based on strategic alignment, community need, evidence-based practices, and demonstrated impact for the populations and communities served.
For organizations invited to apply, if you cannot find the answer to your question below, please review your invitation for related informational materials or email us at caresourcefoundation@caresource.com.
THE FOUNDATION’S GRANT GUIDELINES
- How often can our organization apply for a grant?
An organization awarded funding is generally eligible to receive one grant award per calendar year.
- How can my organization be considered for future foundation opportunities?
The CareSource Foundation utilizes an invitation-only grantmaking process to identify organizations whose work reflects strategic alignment, community need, evidence-based practices, and demonstrated impact. Organizations that meet these criteria may be contacted directly regarding future opportunities or invitations to apply. Please review the Foundation website for updates, eligibility information, and future announcements.
- Can I still apply if CareSource is not in my state or county?
The Foundation prioritizes its support for programs within CareSource service areas but will consider additional locations on a case-by-case basis. You must be invited to apply.
- Does the Foundation provide multi-year funding?
