OVER-THE-COUNTER (OTC) ALLOWANCE

Getting the everyday health and wellness items you need is easy with your plan’s Over-the-Counter (OTC) allowance.

Each quarter, as a HAP CareSource MI Health Link member, you receive a $75 OTC allowance. Spend it on items, from our OTC catalog, like toothpaste, vitamins, denture cleaner and much more. You can also shop through these options:

Order Your OTC Items

Online

Ordering through the OTC catalog is quick and easy with our MyBenefits portal. You can also use the MyBenefits mobile app. To order through the portal, create an account, and then enter your HAP CareSource MI Health Link member ID number and date of birth. Once you are signed in, you can easily shop available products!

Mail

You can use the OTC catalog to fill out an order form to mail to us. OTC catalogs are mailed at the start of the benefit year or upon your enrollment. You can also download the catalog or order form at the top of this page. Mail your completed order form to:

Use the OTC catalog to order products over the phone. Call Member Experience Advisors at 1-877-269-9234 (TTY: 711) to place your order. Member Experience Advisors are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

NOTE: Orders take an average of 3-7 business days to arrive at your doorstep from the shipment date. Tracking and updates are available on the ordering portal.

Access the Portal

You can find information about your OTC allowance through the MyBenefits portal or via the MyBenefits mobile app. Through these online portals you can:

  • Track your balance and OTC catalog orders.
  • Shop and place order through the portal.
  • See a list of participating retailers and pharmacies.
  • Find a store near you to use your OTC allowance.
  • Scan products to see if they qualify.
  • And see an approved list of the products you can buy with your OTC allowance!

If you have created an account via the MyBenefits portal, use the same username and password when logging into the mobile app. If you need to set up an account, you can do this the first time you open the MyBenefits app.
