CareSource CEO Shares Workforce Development Insights at Ohio CEO Summit

CareSource president and CEO Erhardt Preitauer joined Mark Smucker from The J.M. Smucker Co. and Owens Corning CEO Brian Chambers to share workforce development insights with nearly 300 corporate CEOs and business executives from across Ohio at the Ohio CEO Summit this month in Columbus.

The summit explored organizational change management, incumbent upskilling, candidate recruitment expansion and other critically-immediate business actions to strengthen Ohio businesses’ profitability and enhance quality of life for all.

“CareSource has a huge advantage when attracting and retaining talent because we’re a mission-driven organization,” said Preitauer. “Employees need to know how their role fits into the larger picture. Leaders have to appeal to—and win—hearts and minds across our organizations.”

A recent study by the Center for Economic Development in Cleveland State University’s Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs found that CareSource has a total economic output of nearly $1 billion in the state of Ohio.
