CareSource Invitational raises awareness for youth mental health

A college basketball exhibition game featuring Indiana University and the University of Louisville raised awareness for adolescent and young adult mental health. Ahead of the game, a pep rally was held to engage students and emphasize the message that “it’s okay to not be okay.” “We have a crisis in the realm of mental health here in this country,” said Dr. Cameual Wright, President of CareSource Indiana, emphasizing the importance of seeking help. The CareSource Invitational seeks to bring attention to mental health issues among young people, using the platform of college basketball to foster awareness and reduce stigma.
