CareSource Georgia leaders recently coordinated water collection and distribution efforts after recent flooding in northern Georgia. Around 8,000 Georgians in the area were left with little or no running water when the city of Summerville's water treatment plant was flooded and closed for nine days.
"I am so grateful to have employees on the Georgia team who continuously step up to help communities who need a helping hand, " shared Jason Bearden, President of CareSource Georgia. "The team jumped in at a moment's notice to ensure Summerville residents had safe water to drink."
CareSource employees partnered with Dr. Miniyar Pediatrics to assist the local community with obtaining drinking water. North Georgia Pediatric Therapies, LLC also collected cases of water and assisted with water distribution at Dr. Miniyar's collection site.
