DAYTON, Ohio (Aug. 14, 2025) – CareSource, a national nonprofit managed care organization, announced today its investment in Radley Health (d/b/a RadleyCare), an Ohio-based organization providing peer support services to empower adults with serious mental illness (SMI).

“Investing in Ohio’s peer workforce development isn’t just good for the economy, it’s a proven path towards better health,” said Stephanie Stitt, director of behavioral health provider relations & initiatives at CareSource. “When individuals with serious mental illness have the opportunity to work and support others on similar journeys, we see real gains in recovery, resilience and overall well-being.”

CareSource’s investment in RadleyCare will focus on identifying gaps and enhancing peer support services throughout Ohio, ultimately improving health care effectiveness data. This initiative aims to bolster support for patients with complex lives. The funding will be instrumental in guiding the development of comprehensive peer and family support packages, which will outline the necessary scope, frequency and duration of services required to meet the needs of those served.

“We are incredibly excited to have CareSource, a true leader in making a difference in members’ lives and improving health care outcomes for at-risk populations, invest in RadleyCare,” said Anson Frericks, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Radley Health. “This agreement marks a pivotal step forward in our mission to empower individuals with serious mental illness—and the families who support them—to live amazing lives. With CareSource as our exclusive managed care founding partner in Ohio, we align resources, values and vision to transform community-based behavioral health care at scale.”
