DAYTON, Ohio (July 7, 2025) – CareSource, a national nonprofit managed care organization, has appointed David Thomas as President of the Ohio Market. In this role, he will guide the Ohio team in advancing operational excellence and achieving CareSource's strategic and financial goals to improve the health and well-being of members and communities.

His earlier experience includes roles at Advanced Health Corporation, Maimonides Medical Center, Travelers Insurance and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Based in Ohio, he will lead a team focused on delivering high-quality health care solutions, building on the organization's foundation and driving innovative strategies to improve outcomes. Thomas will succeed Steve Ringel, who is set to retire at the end of 2025.
