Important Changes Coming as Part of the Next Generation MyCare Program

Starting January 1, 2026, CareSource will begin offering a combined Medicare and Medicaid plan, CareSource^® MyCare Ohio (HMO D-SNP). As part of the transition to the Next Generation MyCare program, CareSource will no longer offer an Ohio CareSource Dual Advantage™ (HMO D-SNP) plan as of December 31, 2025. Welcome TrueCare Providers!

Here are some highlights and navigation tips for the Provider Portal.

You may toggle between providers by selecting the drop-down and choosing the applicable provider’s name.

From the top-right side, click the drop-down list to toggle between accounts.
Each account will display with the Tax ID and Provider Name.
Click the appropriate account to switch to.
You may also search for the Tax ID or Provider Name to locate the appropriate account.

From the left-hand navigation menu you will have access to the below functionalities:

Member Search

Access member eligibility
Find out if the member has other health care insurance coverage
Upload documents related to members

Member Reports

View members currently assigned to providers
Identify and prioritize needed health care services, screenings, and tests for members

Claims

Submit and check the status of any claim you have submitted
View payment history
Submit a claim dispute or appeal

Providers > Prior Authorizations

Submit prior authorizations
Check status, make updates, and view with letters related to a prior authorization

Changing office locations/phone numbers, adding/terming a provider, changing/adding specialties at a location, and/or closing a location are all reasons to notify CareSource.

Ensure your claims and prior authorization requests process without delay by reviewing and updating your information on file. From the left navigation menu, select Provider > Provider Maintenance for more information.
