HOW TO CHOOSE CARESOURCE
Medicaid health care plans are offered for eligible Nevadans with low earnings, pregnant women, infants and children, older adults and individuals with disabilities. CareSource Medicaid is available across Nevada and is the only nonprofit Medicaid choice.

When you apply for Nevada Medicaid, you can choose CareSource as your plan. Whether you fill out online, by mail, over the phone or at your local Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) office, tell them you want to choose CareSource. |

If you have another plan and want to switch to CareSource, call the Nevada Medicaid hotline, fill out a change form within 90 days and tell them you want to switch to CareSource. If you have your plan more than 90 days, you can switch to CareSource next enrollment period. |

Apply online using the Nevada Benefits Portal (Hyperlink Nevada), by calling Nevada Medicaid at (800) 992-0900 or by visiting your local Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) office.

Nevada Medicaid’s managed care plans
Nevada Medicaid’s health plans are made to give you care that fits your needs. You can look at the plans and sign up online at www.medicaid.nv.gov or call Nevada Medicaid at (800) 992-0900. Helpers are there Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific time. They can answer your questions about enrollment and have interpreters if needed.
