Transportation

If you live in a rural area*, you can get rides for health care appointments and more at no cost to you:

• Visits to your providers including to dentists and other specialists
• Pharmacies to pick up your prescriptions
• Community and wellness services or events
• CareSource-sponsored events
• Job interviews, High School Equivalency classes, and other approved activities (you must be part of CareSource WorkConnect)
• Appointments with DHHS for eligibility or Medicaid renewal or with Women, Infant Children (WIC)
• To pick up food at food pantries, food banks or other food distribution pickups
• Grocery stores to pick up an order for curbside pickup

*If you live in Urban Clark or Urban Washoe counties, you can get transportation through the state with MTM.

When possible, please call Member Services to schedule your transportation 72 hours (3 days) before you need a ride. You can get a ride in the same day for urgent trips like:

• When you are discharged from the hospital
• Need to go to an urgent care
• Need to go to your provider for an urgent visit

Let us know if you have any special needs ahead of time. Examples are if you use a walker or wheelchair, need to meet at a back entrance, or do not have a phone where the driver can reach you. This will help us better meet your needs.
