Nevada Single Preferred Drug List

CareSource covers all medically necessary Medicaid-covered medications. We use the Nevada Single Preferred Drug List (SPDL). All Nevada Medicaid plans use this same list. This list shows which medicines are preferred or easier to get and which are not. Learn more about the SPDL.

Find a Pharmacy

Use the Find a Pharmacy  tool to find a network pharmacy near you. Simply type in your address and follow the prompts. Please show your ID card at the pharmacy when you get your prescription.

Over-the-Counter (OTC) Items

OTC items can be bought without a prescription. They include antacids, decongestants, first aid items, multivitamins, and much more. You can get $30 each quarter to spend on OTC items. Learn more and view the list of eligible items.

Medication Disposal

Do you have any old or unused medications? Don’t just throw them away or flush them down the toilet! Get rid of these medications safely.

Medication Therapy Management

Using medications the right way is vital to your health. That’s why we have a Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program.

This program will:

  • Help you safely use your drugs.
  • Help your doctors and other caregivers work better together.
  • Help you learn about your drugs and the right way to use them.
  • Help your overall health.

You can work one-on-one with a pharmacist through the MTM program. They can go over and help you manage your medications. Ask your pharmacist if they are part of the MTM program. You can also call Member Services to learn more.

Do you have questions about your medications? Talk to a CareSource pharmacist! You do not need an appointment. Call 1-888-882-3615 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm PT, to speak with a pharmacist today.
