Exercise During Pregnancy

Being pregnant is a great reason to get serious about exercise. It can help you feel better, gives you more energy and reduces aches and pains. Exercise even helps you avoid constipation, which is more common during pregnancy. Another bonus: Exercise releases “feel good” chemicals in your brain called endorphins that boost your mood.

Being in good shape during pregnancy means you’ll be more likely to have an easier labor and delivery. If you’re new to exercising, be sure to ask your doctor if there are any reasons you might need to adjust your exercise plans. Learn more about exercising while pregnant.
