Information Sharing – My CareSource
Update or check your consent to share information by clicking the Benefits tab on the top menu. There is an area for your information sharing settings. You will see a check mark and “Sharing” at the top of the section if you have agreed to let us to share your health information with your providers. Click the button to change the setting.
Giving us consent lets us share your health information with your past, current and future treating providers so they can have all the information they need to provide the best care possible. It may also be shared with Health Information Exchanges (HIE).
If you do not want to share your health information, it will not be shared with providers to handle your care and treatment or to help with benefits. It will be shared with the provider who treats you for a specific condition.
