Quick Start Steps for New Members
- Put your CareSource ID card in your wallet. Use it each time you use your health care benefits.
- You will be assigned a provider and have an appointment set for the week of your release.
- Visit My CareSource and set up your personal online account. You will need your member ID number from your ID card or new member kit welcome letter. You’ll also need to enter a secure password. You can use your My CareSource account to change your doctor, ask for a new ID card, view claims and plan details, update your contact information and choose the way you would like for us to communicate with you. If you have CTP and CareSource Medicaid you will need to set up two accounts.
- Download the free CareSource mobile app through Google Play or iTunes. It will keep you connected to your CareSource benefits on the go – you can even view your ID card!
All of your CTP benefits will be provided by your assigned provider, please keep your scheduled appointment with your assigned provider or contact Member Services for assistance in rescheduling.
