Do you need a ride to get care? We can help. We offer up to 15 round trips or 30 one-way trips each calendar year for rides less than 30 miles from your home. Call Member Services at 1-800-488-0134 (TTY: 711) at least two business days before your visit. Get rides to:
- Any provider visit or health care appointment
- A pharmacy to pick up prescriptions
- Get immunizations like your flu shot
- Visits to your local Women, Infants and Children (WIC) office
- Renew your Medicaid coverage with your county Job and Family Services
Get unlimited trips for:
- Dialysis
- Prenatal and postpartum care
- Parents visiting their baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Hospital admission or discharge
- Child wellness visits, pediatrician, or Healthchek/EPSDT visits
We also cover all medically necessary rides by ambulance or wheelchair van, no matter the distance.
You can get a ride in the same day for urgent trips like:
- When you are discharged from the hospital
- Need to go to an urgent care
- Need to go to your provider for an urgent visit
Let us know if you have any special needs ahead of time. Examples are if you use a walker or wheelchair, need to meet at a back entrance, or do not have a phone where the driver can reach you. This will help us better meet your needs.
Need more help with rides? Call your county Job and Family Services. They can help with rides to Medicaid-approved medical visits that are less than 30 miles away.
