If you’re a Medicare + Medicaid CareSource MyCare Ohio member, you have enhanced transportation benefits: 

Get unlimited rides to:

  • Health care visits
  • Renewal appointments with Job and Family Services
  • Pharmacies to pick up your prescriptions
  • Gyms
  • Grocery stores
  • Community and wellness services or events

If you have Medicaid only with CareSource MyCare Ohio, you have basic transportation benefits:

If you must travel 30 miles or more for care, we will give you a ride. These health care trips can be for:

  • Medical visits.
  • Pharmacies to pick up your prescriptions.

If your trip is less than 30 miles, CareSource MyCare Ohio does not give the ride. You may be able to get help from your local County Department of Job and Family Services. Ask about the Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) program.

Schedule a Ride

To schedule your ride, call Member Services at 1-855-475-3163  (TTY: 1-833-711-4711 or 711). You can also call us with complaints.

Please call 48 hours before you need a ride, when you can. Tell us about any special needs.

Tell us if you:

  • Use a walker, wheelchair or other mobility device.
  • Need to meet at a back door.
  • Do not have a phone where the driver can call you.
  • Need help from door to door.
  • Speak a language other than English.
  • Have a family member or caregiver joining you.
  • Use oxygen.

Please note: You cannot use transportation for personal trips. This includes hair appointments or employment. Abuse of the benefit can lead to a six-month suspension.
