Pharmacy
When you get both your Medicare and Medicaid benefits from CareSource, you get more of the medications you need with no copays for covered Medicare Part D drugs and Medicaid covered non-Part D and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. We partner with Express Scripts® to help you manage your prescriptions.
Use the Find A Pharmacy tool and List of Covered Drugs to check coverage. You can also login into your CareSource MyLife account to see your pharmacy benefits.
List of Covered Drugs (Formulary)
If you get both your Medicare and Medicaid benefits from CareSource, the formulary is the entire list of covered Part D drugs. Some Medicaid covered drugs have restrictions and/or limits. This includes prior authorization, step therapy, and quantity limits.
The Medicaid List of Covered Drugs shows the coverage for certain OTC items and non-Part D drugs included in your plan.
Find both lists under Pharmacy Documents on the Plan Documents page.
