Vision

  • $0 copay for routine eye exams
  • Eyeglasses and contacts are covered:
    • Age: 21-59 – 1 pair every 2 years
    • Age 60 years or older – 1 pair per year
      *Deluxe frames, transitions and progressive lenses are not covered
  • One comprehensive eye exam, complete frame and pair of lenses (contact lenses, if medically necessary) are covered:
    • per 12-month period for those over 59 years of age; or
    • per 24-month period for those 21 through 59 years of age

Hearing

  • $ 0 copay for routine hearing exams
  • $0 copay hearing aids are covered once every 4 years for conventional and 5 years for digital or programmable

Medicare + Medicaid Enhanced Hearing Benefits
If you have both your Medicare + Medicaid with CareSource MyCare Ohio you get:

  • $0 copay for routine hearing exams to diagnose hearing and balance issues
  • Two advanced-level hearing aids provided every three years at no cost (1 hearing aid per ear per year)
