Here’s what you get when you have your Medicaid with CareSource MyCare Ohio.

Dental, Vision, Hearing

Your dental benefits include:

  • One routine oral exam and one cleaning every 6 months for 18-20 years old.
  • One routine oral exam and one prophylaxis (cleaning) per year for 21+

We cover routine eye exams and eyewear.

  • If you are under the age of 21, routine eye exams and eyewear are covered once a year.
  • If you are between the ages of 21-59, routine eye exams and eyewear are covered once every two years.
  • If you are over the age of 59, routine eye exams and eyewear are covered once a year.

Routine hearing exams are covered. Hearing aids are covered by the plan once every 4 years for conventional and 5 years for digital or programmable.

CareSource24 Nurse Advice Line

Call CareSource24® at 1-866-206-7861 (TTY: 711) any time you have a question about your health. A caring registered nurse will answer your questions and help you decide what kind of care you need. Nurses are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The number is also on your CareSource member ID card.

Interpreter Services

We can help you get sign language interpreters or interpreters in the language you speak. Interpreters can help you talk with us or your providers. You can also get materials in other languages or formats at no cost to you. These formats include large print, braille or audio. Call Member Services to learn more.

Transportation

If you travel 30 miles or more to get your health care services, we will give you a ride. Call Member Services at least two business days before you need a ride. If any special assistance is needed, tell us when you call.

You can still get help with transportation for certain services through the local County Department of Job and Family Services Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) program. Call your County Department of Job and Family Services for questions or assistance with NET services.

If you have been determined eligible and enrolled in a home and community- based waiver program, there are also waiver transportation benefits available to meet your needs.

CareSource offers care and disease management programs. These programs help you learn about your health and support you in managing your health conditions. These are available to you at no cost. Learn more.

As a Medicaid only member, you can get over-the-counter benefits through the Medicaid covered product list.
