Eligibility and Enrollment
Eligibility
TRICARE beneficiaries in the following categories, who live within designated Atlanta, Georgia, and Tampa, Florida ZIP codes, are eligible to enroll into the TRICARE Prime® Demo by CareSource Military & VeteransTM:
- Active-duty family members
- Family members of Guard/Reserve sponsors who are activated
- Retirees, retiree family members, survivors who aren’t eligible for Medicare
- Beneficiaries enrolled in the Transitional Compensation Program
- Exceptional Family Members not currently enrolled in ECHO or the Autism Care Demonstration
The following groups are not eligible for the TRICARE Prime Demo:
- Active-duty service members
- Individuals with TRICARE Reserve Select coverage
- Individuals with TRICARE Retired Reserve coverage
- Individuals with TRICARE Young Adult coverage
- Beneficiaries who are eligible for Medicare
- Beneficiaries receiving services under the Extended Care Health Option Program or Autism Care Demonstration
- Individuals with Continued Health Care Benefit Program coverage
Enrollment
There are several ways you can enroll in TRICARE Prime® Demo. Choose one of the following options during the TRICARE Open Season. TRICARE Open Season is November 10 – December 9 with coverage beginning January 1, 2026.

Prefer self-service?
Sign up through the Beneficiary Web Enrollment (BWE) portal via MilConnect. Search for TRICARE Prime® Demo.
If you are switching from TRICARE Select to TRICARE Prime Demo, you can enroll via BWE. If you are already TRICARE Prime, you will need to enroll via the EEE option listed above.
