Pregnancy & Family Planning
Mom & Baby Beginnings™
Our team is here for you during and after your pregnancy. We connect you to resources and work with your providers to make sure you are healthy and safe. Our team helps you understand your pregnancy and how to take care of your newborn. We can also help coordinate care if you have a baby in the NICU. Call 1-833-230-2034 (TTY: 711) to get started.
Before You Are Pregnant
You can take steps to be healthy now if you are thinking about having a baby. This can limit problems during pregnancy. Visit your provider. Keep up with your preventive care and screenings. Stop smoking or using tobacco products and do not drink alcohol or use illegal drugs.
While You Are Pregnant
See a provider as soon as you know you are pregnant. Start taking a prenatal vitamin to ensure that you get the nutrients you need. See your provider while you are pregnant to help find and treat issues early.
After You Have Your Baby
Call CareSource to tell us that you had a baby. Schedule a visit with your provider 3-6 weeks after you have your baby. If you had a C-section or had any problems during delivery, make your appointment within the first or second week after your baby is born.
